“Tryin’ to Live” by Mr. Nickelz

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Introducing Mr. Nickelz from Queens, NY. It is only a matter of time for Nickelz – All that’s really required is one good shot – his lyrics roar like crazy and show profound thought and inspiration

He’s as real, as authentic, and as raw as it gets . . . This video is his joint, “Tryin to Live”

A solo Nickelz mixtape is being distributed now
Nickelz is also member of a unique band that blends r&b, rap, soul, and hip hop into one never-before-heard sound called, “EarthChild” – we’ll be putting some of their stuff up too – An album for EarthChild is in the works

Chalk it up to success

who is the real king of the concrete jungle these days? . . . . LeBron of course.  CJ is sure he’ll be crowned this year

fuck, only the best player in the league can get away with something like throwing up chalk at the commencement of every ballgame; when you can do whatever you want and still attract a cult following . . . a true component of being a true king . . . beef and broccoli!!!

we need this guy to host the next CJ launch party

Steve Jobs’ first presentation

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

On January 24th, 1984, roughly 25 years ago, Steve Jobs gave the first on-stage demonstration of the Macintosh computer to a packed auditorium of screaming people that you could easily mistake for a rock concert — crazy to think about what Macs look like today and even crazier to think of what they may look like 25 years from now.

And while we’re at it, here’s the presentation of the original iPod in 2001 – that thing looks so antiquated now – Our favorite line from the presentation: “Why Music? Well, we love music, and it’s always good to do something you love.”
